“Lion City Hardcore V/A”

“together at last”

It has taken quite some time for a truely HARDCORE COMPILATION to see the light and the people at RECONSTRUX RECORDS, have dedicated this release to the spirit of the UNDERGROUND and to the bands before this. Even though that STOMPIN' GROUND has been widely known as the pioneering POSITIVE HARDCORE band, this record is dedicated to the earlier bands, now no longer in the scene but were responsible for sowing the seeds and making the unseemingly possible.

Reconstrux Records is not only a label, it's like an establishment, a shelter to hardcore bands, or UNDERGROUND bands who have proved that they are devoted to their music and the scene.Reconstrux Records would like to be the home for this types of bands.

The compilation proves that hardcore is no longer the "three cord" musicians that people have deemed them to be. These bands have proven to be both lyrically and musically compelling and this release shows that they can give various interpretations of "modern day" hardcore. We salute those bands.!!!

This compilation proves that HARDCORE bands are no longer the "three cord" musicians people have deemed them to be. These bands have proven to be both lyrically and musically compelling and this release shows that they can give various interpretations of "modern day" HARDCORE, as seen in ENRAGE's and 4-SIDES's progressive brand of HARDCORE to RECTIFY's and UNITED BLOOD's straight-on approach.
